Student
To qualify for the student rate, you’ll need to provide a valid student ID from a recognised tertiary or secondary institution or an international student card (in English). Simply upload a copy during registration or email it to our Conference Managers.
Attending the ISSC?
If you’re also attending the International Seed Science Conference, you’re eligible for a discounted rate to make easier for you to connect with leading experts across the global seed science community. Select the ISSC attendee option during registration.
Other information
Session Recordings
Some sessions from the Conference will be recorded and made available after the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to access these recordings at a later date.
Accomodation
The organising committee recommends that all attendees secure accommodation when registering given the capacity of options in regional areas. Recommendations can be found here.
Visa Requirements
All visitors travelling to Australia must have a valid visa. It is recommended that visa applications are lodged at least 2 months prior to departure. Welcome letters are available for registered and paid delegates, contact the conference organisers if needed.

The Conference Managers are not responsible for any fees, and travel and border responsibility rests with each individual.
Scam Emails from Third Parties
Communications sent by external travel providers are not associated with Arinex. All official event travel and event arrangements, and communications regarding your registration will be sent to you directly by Arinex.
If you receive any external communications please note proceeding with booking with an external provider is at your own risk and no liability will be borne by the event organisers.

All registration types (excluding day registrations) entitle delegates to the following:
- Attendance to all sessions
- Daily catering: morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
- One ticket to a selection of workshops and tours
- One ticket to the Welcome Reception
- One ticket to the Conference Dinner
- Access to discounted accommodation rates at via Booking.com unique link

Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation attaching a tax invoice and receipt. If your email does not come through to your inbox, please check your junk mail settings. Your registration will only be confirmed upon full payment of fees.
Each delegate will receive a name badge when they check in at the registration desk. The badge will be your official pass to obtain entry to all sessions and included social functions. You are responsible for always having your badge clearly visible to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from delegates and reserve the right to revoke the name badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.
Bank transfer
Payment by bank transfer will be available from the registration open date and will close one month prior to the Conference. Attendees will receive an invoice for the registration fee within their registration confirmation email that is sent upon completion of the registration form. Payment is required within 14 days from the date of invoice. Registrations with outstanding payments over 14 days will be advised of cancellation if payment is not received within seven days of notification.
Credit card
Attendees can select to pay via credit card upon registration, which is the Conference’s preferred method of payment. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers by emailing [email protected].
- Cancellations on or before Monday, 23 June 2025 will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations from Tuesday, 24 June 2025 to Monday, 11 August 2025 will incur a 50% refund of fees paid.
- Cancellations on or after Tuesday, 12 August 2025 will receive no refund.
This information is correct at the time of publishing. The Conference Managers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference program, and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.
The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for continued learning, promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
The Conference Managers of ASSC 2025 (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid. Please view the Code of Conduct which all attendees are expected to comply with.
